Who God Says I Am: A Journey Back to Truth

Last month, I found myself reflecting a lot on true identity…

Not the kind the world gives us.

Not the titles, the roles or the expectations.

But the quiet questions we carry within ourselves:

Am I enough?

Am I seen?

Am I Loved?

And I think for many of us, especially as women, life has a way of slowly chipping at our sense of who we are.

We often feel like we might be giving so much. Pouring into others and carrying all sorts of responsibilities, expectations and pressures…

And somewhere in between that, we forget...

We forget what God says.

We forget how He sees us.

There were moments in my own life where I questioned everything. ( And in all honestly, sometimes, I still do)

Moments where I didn’t feel enough.

Moments where I felt unseen.

Moments I felt rejected.

Moments where I had to confront the lies I had quietly started believing about myself.

And in those moments, I realised something...

We really don’t need more pressure. Pressure we ourselves unnecessarily add.

All we need is the truth. 

The Simple truth.

The Gentle truth.

God’s TRUTH.

That:

🤍 I am Loved

✨ I am Enough

🌸 I am Chosen

 

Not because of what I’ve done…

But because of who He is.

 

And sometimes we need reminders.

Not loud ones.

Not complicated ones.

Just something that quietly speaks back to our hearts when doubt tries to creep in.
